NERON Inc. has been selected for the 9th cohort of 01Start, a business plan competition jointly organized by Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. and 01Booster.

01Start is a startup support program based at SAAI, an innovation community in Yurakucho, Tokyo, that helps entrepreneurs transform innovative ideas into impactful businesses. Following the final pitch session, NERON was selected as one of nine winning teams with its project, “BG1,” a gut microbiome-based product for mental well-being built on the gut–brain axis.

Over the coming year, NERON will leverage the SAAI community through mentorship, networking, and collaboration opportunities to further accelerate the development and commercialization of its microbiome-based solutions for mental well-being.
