A scientifically grounded gut microbiome cocktail—“Mental Well-being”.
From a Finnish gut microbiome list, we selected strains based on three key criteria: safety, growth potential, and serotonin secretion. Using cell-based assays with individual strains, we narrowed down candidates and repeatedly tested combinations and blend ratios focused on enhancing serotonin secretion. Through this process, we are developing a gut microbiome cocktail designed to help improve mental conditions such as anxiety and stress.

This invention relates to a composition comprising a specific combination of multiple gut bacterial strains and a method for its production. Compared to conventional approaches using single strains, this composition synergistically promotes serotonin secretion more effectively. As a result, it aims to improve mental and physiological functions such as mood disorders, sleep disturbances, appetite loss, and reduced stress resilience.
Each bacterial strain is cultured under appropriate conditions, then adjusted in count, mixed, and post-processed to form a final product in either solid or liquid form. This enables wide applicability across various industries—including food and beverages, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals—making it a highly promising technology for broad industrial use.
